The Pharmacology Nurse Training Program has added a new course titled Diabetes and Developmental Disabilities. This course is currently available for registration.

Information about the course:

Course Description:
This course will cover New York States diagnostic criteria for diabetes and pre-diabetes, using the OPWDD-approved curriculum. It will also review clinical practice guidelines for care of people with diabetes, treatment goals and recommendations, medical nutrition therapy guidelines, and will discuss the current medication regimens.

Please Note: This course is not eligible for NYSNA contact hours.

Due to the inclement weather forecast across New York State, RRTI is cancelling Course #5, End-of-Life and Developmental Disabilities, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 12, 2011.

We are currently in the process of securing an alternate date for this course and will notify you of the re-scheduled date as soon as it is available.
